The St. Joseph Food Program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-sectarian organization.

How Funds are Used:

Your generous donations keep our trucks on the road picking up donated food, our freezers running and our lights on. Donations allow us to supplement food donations with large food purchases to meet increasing need. Ninety cents of every dollar donated goes to directly to fighting hunger.  Donate Now!

Charitable IRA Rollovers:

The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, which was signed into law on October 3, 2008, has extended a charitable giving provision that was originally passed as part of the Pension Protection Act of 2006. Known as the Charitable IRA Rollover, the provision, which will be in effect through 2009, allows individuals age 70-1/2 and older who have a traditional or Roth IRA to:

• Make a direct transfer from their IRA to a public charity of up to $100,000 per year in 2008 and 2009;
• Exclude the Charitable IRA Rollover amount from their taxable income;
• Satisfy their required minimum distribution by making a direct Charitable IRA Rollover; and continue to make deductible gifts to charities up to the percentage limitation in addition to the Charitable IRA Rollover.
• Setup an automatic withdrawal by filling out this form and mailing it in to St. Joe's: Automatic Withdrawal Form

Can’t come up with an idea for a Christmas present? Ask for, or give a gift of a donation made to St. Joseph Food Program instead! A donation made in your name is a gift that makes an impact on the lives of people in our community who would otherwise not have food for their families. We are proud to say that 90 cents of every dollar donated to St. Joe’s goes directly to the purchase and distribution of food! A card will be sent to the person whose name the donation is made. Anniversaries, birthdays and memorials are also great opportunities to donate to St. Joe’s.
