Activity

Being physically active is linked to improved health and decreased risk of many medical conditions. Unfortunately, many Americans do not participate in nearly enough physical activity. The CDC provides the following recommendations for physical activity:

  • Children: 60 minutes of aerobic activity daily

  • Adults: 30-60 minutes five days per week plus two or more days of muscle strengthening activities
